Reached by a contractor, first, for an audit of its contract management database, Argos Construction has brought a new light on the implemented tools by the operational teams in order to reconstitute the story of an ongoing site and of all underwent disruptions. Extra costs of 18 % of contract amount have already been encountered and delays could imply liquidated damages application. This audit underlines that the company was not in accordance with contractual process and that its methodology had some weaknesses and redundancies. Thanks to the clarification showing that the contractor is not the only responsible of the delays and that he has underwent damages, liquidated damages have been avoided and a claim for additional remuneration has been presented.

    Analysis of documents origins which are related to event reports

    Analysis of study and quantification of new prices or additional remuneration related to efficiency loss, detailed design, events reports, new prices, management fees and overheads.

    Presentation of the state report on the implemented system for contract management and recommendations or possible improvements.

    Teams awareness, improvement and implementation of follow up tools of disruptions which enabled to present a claim for additional remuneration.
